Blog Layout and Changes

So now there are some neat layout features to Blogger, and so I’m deciding what nifty things I want to put on my blog. So far, these are the ideas I have:

1. Sites that I Love
2. Blogs that I Visit
3. 5 books I’m reading or are in the TBR pile
4. WIP Bar to track progress on my novel.
5. And maybe something on current writing projects, once I get them organized and moving forward again.

It’s just so hard to decide what to put on there, and what might interest those people that bother to read my blog. So I guess if any of you have some ideas or suggestions, feel free to comment.

What your READERS find interesting?! Pete and I will have to try that sometime! ROFL

I think the WIP bar would be really cool. I'd get one, but it would never move. :oD

TBR pile sounds really interesting. I like to find out what other people are reading.

Weird. All the changes you're talking about are thoughts I've had too. Right down to sorting out the computer room.

I swapped bedrooms so now I have the small one at the back of my house and the computer and bookshelves get the big room at the front.

Well, I have more bookshelves than I do bedroom furniture, it made sense.

A nice clear rss button is nice. I also like blogtopsites buttons because I am rude and nosy and like to see how many hits a blog is getting :) I may do the TBR thing myself.

I'm with Jason - it would be cool to see what you're currently reading (or planning to read).

Books, books, books! Always good to not only see what people are reading, but to know that they are reading...

I think the addtions to the blog would be nice.

Yeah, but nobody pointed out that I used "so" 3 times in the first little paragraph.

Taking the time to properly write posts would do me some good.

mybloglog.com has a great widget that shows the last people to visit the site

I have to agree about MyBlogLog. It's a great tool! Everything else you mentioned sounds wonderful! I always have fun adding new things to my blog, or deleting for new widgets. Can't wait to watch your blog as it evolves!
